Our Impact
We’re a small brand. We don’t have a sustainability department or a carbon offset algorithm. What we have is a set of deliberate choices — made before the first product was ever sold.
Here’s what those choices look like in practice.
What We Make It From
Every piece in our collection is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. GOTS — the Global Organic Textile Standard — covers the entire journey from field to finished product. No pesticides. No insecticides. No artificial fertilisers. No harmful chemicals in the dyeing or finishing process. Fair working conditions throughout the supply chain.
Conventional cotton uses up to 25% of the world’s pesticides. Ours uses none.
Our products are also OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — independently tested and verified to be free from harmful substances. Both certifications are held by our production partner Stanley/Stella, one of the most respected sustainable textile manufacturers in Europe.
How we make it
Everything is made to order. Your piece is produced when you place your order — and not before. No warehouse. No overstock. No surplus that ends up in a landfill.
Made-to-order is one of the most effective ways to eliminate waste in fashion. It’s also just honest.
Where it's made
Our t-shirts are sewn in Bangladesh, in factories audited and certified by the Fair Wear Foundation — an independent organisation that verifies fair wages, safe working conditions and workers’ rights throughout the supply chain.
Our sweatshirts and shorts are produced in Portugal — closer to home, with the same commitment to fair and verified working conditions.
The printing, finishing and packing of all products happens in France, by our production partner TPOP.
We don’t pretend the supply chain is local. What we can say is that every step of it is held to a standard — and that standard is verified by an independent third party, not just claimed by us.
How we pack it
All orders ship plastic-free. Recycled and recyclable cardboard only — from our production partner TPOP, who has made plastic-free packaging a standard across their entire operation.
What we're NOT claiming
We’re not claiming to be carbon neutral. We’re not claiming to be perfect. Shipping has a footprint. Production has a footprint. We’re honest about that.
What we can say is that every decision we make — materials, packaging, production, partners — starts with the same question: does this leave the world better or worse than we found it?
We’ll keep asking it.
What we dream of doing
We’re more than aware, that the fashion industry has a huge negative impact on the climate and nature around us. We don’t want to be part of that impact.
Therefore we have teamed up with the wonderful Tree-Nation team who helps us with planting a tree for every order placed on the webshop.
We want to be carbon neutral, and we love that you are a part of that.
